GCP Load Balancer

Implements Load Balancer.

IaaS

Google Cloud Load Balancing distributes traffic across backends to deliver scalable, highly available applications through a single global anycast IP address. It spans HTTP(S), TCP, and UDP balancing and can route users to the nearest healthy region automatically. A distinguishing feature is its global load balancing on one IP, enabling cross-region failover and low-latency routing without regional DNS tricks.

Capabilities

  • Spread traffic across healthy backends
  • Health checks and automatic failover
  • TLS termination
  • Layer 4 (TCP) or Layer 7 (HTTP) routing
