This Privacy Policy explains how Sysonaut (“Sysonaut”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website sysonaut.com and the Sysonaut application (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data — your email address and authentication details when you create an account or sign in (including via third-party providers such as GitHub).
• Content you create — the projects, diagrams, shapes, and related metadata you author in the Service.
• Usage & device data — basic technical information such as browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used to operate and improve the Service.
• Billing data — if you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment details (we never receive your full card number); we receive limited transaction and billing information such as your name, country, and the products purchased.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• provide, maintain, and secure the Service;
• store and sync your projects and shape library across your devices;
• process subscriptions and payments;
• respond to support requests and communicate important updates;
• analyse usage to improve features and performance.

3. Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of contract performance (to provide the Service), your consent (where requested), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), and compliance with legal obligations.

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and to remember your preferences (such as your theme). For usage analytics we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or track you across other websites. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your projects at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own — some of our sub-processors (such as Supabase, Vercel, Paddle, and Resend) operate infrastructure in the United States. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by applicable law.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
