0.9 — Beta

The release we're currently working on — Sysonaut's first public beta.

Highlights

  • System Designer — place components on an isometric canvas, connect them with smart links, and edit everything in the inspector.
  • Component Designer — author your own components: layered shapes, icons (top / front / side faces), a dedicated 2D representation, and reusable components you can save as SVG.
  • Vendor icon packs — AWS, GCP and Azure icons built in.
  • Cloud workspaces — Projects and Diagrams sync to your account; your component library is shared across all your projects.
  • 2D & isometric views — switch between a 3D-style isometric model and a clean 2D schematic; ports and connections stay consistent across both.
  • Export — CSV / JSON / SVG.

Notes

This is a beta, so expect rapid iteration and the occasional rough edge. Found a bug or have a request? Email contact@sysonaut.com — feedback shapes what ships next.

0.8

An earlier pre-release, leading up to the Beta.

Added

  • Cloud workspaces — Projects and Diagrams sync to your account; your component library is shared across all your projects.
  • 2D representation — a dedicated, single glyph that defines how a Shape reads in 2D, independent of its isometric layers.
  • Vendor icon packs — AWS, GCP and Azure icons.

Changed

  • Reworked the connection inspector (line style, routing, connector) and added the same options to the right-click menu.
  • Component library moved into the dashboard, with deep-links back into the editor.

Fixed

  • Floating labels could disappear after switching 2D ↔ 3D until the next interaction.
  • Several layer / hit-area edge cases when a Shape had no floor-standing layer.
