GCP CDN

Implements CDN.

SaaS

Cloud CDN is Google Cloud's content delivery network, caching content at Google's globally distributed edge points of presence to reduce latency and origin load. It works with Cloud Load Balancing to serve content from origins such as Cloud Storage or backend instances close to users. Because it rides Google's private global network, cached content is delivered quickly and consistently worldwide.

Capabilities

  • Cache static and dynamic content at the edge
  • Reduce latency by serving from nearby PoPs
  • Offload traffic from origin servers
  • TLS termination and DDoS absorption at the edge
