Google Cloud Secret Manager is a secure and convenient service for storing API keys, passwords, certificates, and other sensitive data. Secrets are encrypted at rest, versioned, and access-controlled through Cloud IAM, keeping sensitive values out of source code. Versioning and audit logging make it straightforward to rotate secrets and track exactly who accessed them and when.

Capabilities

  • Encrypted storage of secrets at rest
  • Fine-grained, IAM-gated access
  • Automatic rotation of credentials
  • Audit logging of every retrieval
