Cloud Connect
Azure ExpressRoute creates private, dedicated connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Microsoft Azure through a connectivity provider, bypassing the public internet. It delivers greater reliability, faster speeds, and lower latency for hybrid workloads and can also reach Microsoft 365 services. Because traffic never traverses the public internet, it is favored for compliance-sensitive and mission-critical connections.
